Making underground camp nicer

A couple suggestions for improving morale and making UC a cosy and exciting place to spend a few happy hours rather than a grim test of human endurance:

* Your warmest dry socks, worn inside plastic bags inside your soggy wellies
* A little torch of the e lite / photon variety you can have comfortably around your neck so when you wake up in the middle of the night entirely lost within the sleeping bag you can find your way out before you expire

Take playing cards, chewing gum and lots of MSR fuel to dry furries out - and keep everything as clean as possible...Never ever take the stove on a trip out of camp so you can have a brew - take your own for that!

Don't use the sleeping bags if you are damp... and get used to spooning :-)
